Efficacy of a novel membrane comprising a copolymer of L-lactic acid and glycolic acid in osteoblasts <i>in vitro </i>

چکیده

In guided bone regeneration (GBR), a barrier membrane is applied to provide space for promote cell adhesion, proliferation, and by inducing migration the surface of bone-deficient site. We prepared non-woven absorbable GBR comprised copolymer L-lactic acid glycolic (PLLGA) using dry spinning method. A thin dense comprising unsintered hydroxyapatite (uHA) poly-L-lactic (PLLA) was used comparison. Osteoblast TMS-12 cells were seeded onto membranes, adhesion proliferation rates examined. Calcification levels quantified Alizarin Red S staining after culture in calcification induction medium. Osteoblastic gene expression examined RT-PCR. Cell on PLLGA membranes significantly higher than those uHA/PLLA membranes. upregulated osteogenic compared Non-woven may be useful promoting formation maturation.
